The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization. Founded by Michael J. McGivney in New Haven Connecticut in 1882, the order is dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patrotism. Our worldwide membership includes 1.9 million Catholic men.
More than 30 years ago, the founding members of the St. Augustine's Knights of Columbus Council 6345 envisioned a scholarship program for young men of the parish who recently graduated high school and who are bound for Post-Secondary Education (e.g., College, Trade School, etc.). This program fulfills the founders vision.
The Council awards the following scholarships:
