It was Father Michael J. McGivney along with a small group of men that started the Knights at St Mary's parish in Connecticut back in 1882. The state of Connecticut officially chartered the Knights on March 29, 1882. If you want to know more about Father McGivney please clink the link below.
St Augustine's Knights of Columbus Council #6345 was chartered on February 28, 1972. The council celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022.
